PROGRAM OF EVENTS

9.00 am	Breakfast Competition: Most Creative and Tastiest Cekodok Put your cooking skills to the test by making the most creative and most mouth-watering cekodok. Participation is by individual or group. All is invited. No limit as to the ingredients used or to the number of cekodok to be prepared (the more, the merrier). Banana? Onion? Prawn? Pumpkin? Chicken? Durian? Strawberry? Belacan? Ice-cream? Chocolate Chip? M&M’s? You can use anything as long as it is halal. [Click here for rules and regulations].
9.30 am	Welcoming Remarks
9.45 am	Talk: "Making it Happen" Speaker: Mrs. Atie Rosemary, Senior Lecturer at Universiti Malaya. [Click here for a brief background about the speaker] Get study tips from this highly experienced lecturer which received her education from overseas, has experience involving with industry and has supervised many undergraduate students.
10.00 am	Competition: "I Know My Country" All is invited to participate. Participants will be tested with regard to the latest developments in our beloved country. Attractive prizes await! [Click here for rules and regulations].
11.00 am	Forum: "I’ve Graduated. What Next?" Forum panel members: Mr. Wan Othman Mohd Noor, Malaysia Airlines (MAS) Manager Dr. Nik Z. Nik Wan, Cardiologist Consultant, Greenslopes Specialist Centre, Queensland Mr. Muhammad Shahril Othman, Administration and Diplomatic Officer (PTD) [Click here for background information on panel members] In this forum, panel members will share their experiences and give a broad perspective of the working scenario that awaits graduating students. Don’t miss the opportunity to interact with them and ask for tips to be the "worker or choice".
11.45 am	Interaction Session: "Meet my Mates" In this session, discussion platforms are provided to allow postgraduate / spouse and undergraduate students in the same academic field to interact. Among academic field groups are: biotechnology, engineering, business, entrepreneurship, social science, teaching and others. What is the purpose? For Postgraduates and Their Spouses: This opportunity can be used to offer advice and share experiences with undergraduates and new postgraduate students. Share your study and work experiences with our young newcomers to the challenging world of the working field. Search for potential "future workmates"!. "A research is not done until it’s published". Exhibit your research results in the form of a poster for all to see and read. Share the knowledge gained from your hard work in doing research. For Undergraduates: This is the best chance to initiate networking among fellow undergraduates and postgraduates and their spouses. Many of our postgraduate students and their spouses are experts in their respective fields. Among their jobs are: lecturers, researchers, doctors, teachers, engineers, architects, entrepreneurs, managers, and many others. Don’t miss the opportunity to ask tons of questions to assist you in your study and in starting your first job. For Everyone: Relax and test your mind with various games! 12.30 pm	Zuhur prayer, hajat prayer (for muslims) and lunch With exams just around the corner, let us pray and ask blessings from god.

Program objectives:

1. To provide a platform to share study experiences and career building among undergraduate and postgraduate students.
2. To provide a platform for new students to obtain relevant advice.
3. To create an academic and career relationships between students in the same field/discipline.
4. To strengthen ties between undergraduate and postgraduate students.
5. To provide a motivational platform for all students to study in a conducive manner.
